the need for 2 nand clips?

ok so i am following @baileyscream s guide on downgrading with a progskeet, (i figured ill add nand downgrade to my services list since someone i knew was selling a original v1.0 progskeet unopened for $60 i couldent pass up the offer.) so i went and bought myself all the bells and wistles for it from xconsoles and now here i am following the guide when i get to the part of installing the nand clip and i seen that baileyscream is using 2 clips. and i only bought one .... sp basically i want to know if i need 2 clips to use the progskeet and if not what are the pros of having 2 clips... thanks in advance guys!

Just one on NAND a and dump one at a time

Dual NAND is not supported by progskeet
But hold on I hear you say you have an adaptor with dual NAND support??

Yes I have but it's for my modified skeet??

Modified you say??

Yes. Well when Andy gets his thumb from up his ass

i have 2 clips for 2 reasons.

1st once the clip is sat in place and you have a good dump from it i didnt then want to move it.
so i have a second one sat on the other nand. this way i can swap between them instead of removing from one to the other and risk not clipping it on right.

and 2nd
when i started the guide there was no mention that the damn skeet didnt actually do dual dumping so i bought 2 thinking it would dual dump.

--------------------------------------------------------------
bottom line
you can only dump from 1 nand at a time so you only really need 1 clip.
get 2 clips if your going to do alot of nand downgrades though as the clips are made from soft plastic and do suddenly stop connecting propperly when you use them alot so a spare is a must.

or better still get a daughter board from @Sarah1331
then you can dump the nands off board (alot better if you have the skill to remove / replace them)

@Sarah1331 sounds like were going to have to do some business, pm me with what you are selling the daughter boards for... id very much like to buy one off you to make life much more easier...

@baileyscream thanks for the response buddy, i also want to let you know that i live by your e3 tut, that being said the only reason why i even considered buying the prog-skeet was because i knew i would have a well put together tut from you to follow. and since i do many downgrades because i am the only person here in Philadelphia,pa that does ps3 jail-breaking (or the surrounding tri-state area for that matter)im definitely gonna go buy another 1 or 2 clips, especially when my favorite console modding site "XCONSOLES" has them for $40. so thanks for that tip also. and on top of all that , i know from experience with the e3 clips that once you get that clip sat, you don't want even a gust of wind to touch it (although i somehow must have shaved just the right amount of plastic off my e3 slip because i ALWAYS get it to connect on the first try now). Also while i have your attention i have one questions, in your guide it says not to use the ribbon cable that came with the injectus but instead to short wire it, so i did that and when i went to go load the bit-stream ( hit the program button) i got a error that was something like "the id-code read from the device ....." so i then said to myself i would try it with the wires soldered, and it worked perfectly. so should i go ahead and continue with the downgrade or should i try and load it again but with the soldered wires this time?

all in all thanks so much for the speedy and accurate responses guys, it is much appreciated!
