with the pc psu you need a dummy load on the line to stop the current dropping when no power is being drawn from the psu.

Here are some updates but no result
I made myself a 2xD battery holder, i connected dhe 3.3v to e3 and the gnd to e3 from e3 i put the wire to the tristate of ps3 also the clip from e3 to ps3 nor, turned on the e3 flasher, e3 flasher ready switch 1 and 2 down 3 up 4,5 and 6 down the pushed the start button on e3 to dump the nor and after a few sec error 10001100 (error initializing ps3 bios). Any help? What i am doing wrong?

Using 0.5A and or 1A can yield a corrupted read of the NOR from a slim but it will not read anything on a fat.

This is where I stopped working on it until I got more supplies.

So you are saying that a self powered e3 flasher cannot be done?
By the way may ps3 is a slim and wen i power it on assembled it gives me green light for 1-3 sec and then off noo beeps no lights at all. I have to push the power button again to get the red standby light on than a again to power it on then a green light the of noo beeps no light. Because of this problem i want to make a self powered e3 flasher so we can dump died consoles...
