progskeet not detected by any computer after bitstream update...

so it bassically one of thos the title explains it all post... i am taking my time learning everything i can about the progskeet before i actually put what ive learned to the test but i figured it cant hurt to have it ready with the latest bitstream for when im ready to procede with using it, so i loaded the newest bitstream onto the progskeet (it is the progskeet 1.0 btw if that makes a difference) but i did it with the ribbon cable because i tried to do it with regular 26 guage wires and couldent get it to work and i was becoming frustrated, but i managed to load the bitstream with no errors and that was that , or so i thought. today when i decided to continue with the use of my progskeet i hooked it up to my laptop and dident hear any connection chime and thought that was unusual so i went into my manager and seen that the computer isent even seeing the device, so i tried a different cord, different computer all of which did not work, and after doing some research i found that a few pepople have had this problem but i was unable to find any solution... so know im stuck which brings me here. so i tried to connect the progskeet back to the injectus and see what happens and still the computer will not even acknowledge that the progskeet was plugged in but the it sees the injectus, i also noticed that if i unplug the usb cable powering the injectus there is still dim red light which suggest the progskeet is receiving and distributing power still. imstuck and i need help, someone please!!!!! lol... @baileyscream @Sarah1331

1. bridge R8

2. DO NOT POWER THE PROG VIA THE INJECTUS.

3. connect injectus to prog

4. plug prog to pc via its own usb
with R8 bridged the prog will get power from the usb.
it will now get detected (although you tried to program it via injectus without powering the prog first so it still might not)

5. plug injectus into pc via usb

6. re-program the prog with the injectus (even if it looks like the prog is programed re-do it as it may be a bad update with you powering both prog and injectus before)

7. read guides fully. this is all in my prog NAND guide

@baileyscream my r8 has a 0 ohm resistor on it which correct me if i am wrong isent that already bridged? and when i check continuity it beeps...

As you can see i started to create the bridge but then stoppen when i noticed it had the 0 on it...

this is what happens when i attach the injectus to the progskeet and attach the usb cord to the progskeet witch is going to my laptop.as you can see the red light is light very dim on the injectus, im still not getting and recognization or detection for that matter. but this is assuming that the r8 is already bridged because of the 0ohm resistor being there and the continuity test i performed being succesful

--------------------------------------update--------------------------------------------

so i decided after reading a few peoples cases of the same problem to go ahead and try and load a retail bitstream onto the progskeet and see if that makes a difference and sure enough i now have my progskeet back! but my question now is what do i do next? being that i cannot use the latest bitstream.... some guidence would be very much appriciated! thanks for your help so far @baileyscream !

there is only 2 bitstreams for the 1.1 prog
the retail one (this gives NAND / NOR wired support and NOR clip support)
ProgSkeet_Retail_Default111006

and the NAND clip support one
ProgSkeet_Retail_SL_NAND111126

there is also on progs website a new bitstreem for converting the 1.1 into a 1.2 but as you havent modified your 1.1 (the mini usb is still attached for a start) then you wont be able to use that bitstream.

first i just wanna say thank you for your help! i know im really noobing it right now and it is more than likely very frustrating to have to repeat things that are already in your guide... but the bitstream i loaded on the progskeet was the "ProgSkeet_Retail_SL_NAND111126" and now im just trying to get the clip on properly, everytime i puch auto in winskeet i get the "unknown 0000000" so ive tryed to manipulate the clip and so far ave had no luck... hopefully there is some light at the end of this tunnel... and @Sarah1331 i think its going to come down to having to get the board off of you.. seems like it would be much more eisier that way...

im charging my camera battery then i want to post some pics of my clip...
