How you grow tired of "PS4 hype" when its on the early stage and many things remain mysterious ? Its normal for a company to advertise a product and keep the attention fellow users of the system for as long as possible and advertise his product until the system is released (finalized)<< this is called "business strategy".
Showcasing the final product casing would mean that PS3 era is over and I think they want to remain a little longer with PS3 in the market and don't want to throw super slims out of the window
(and many ps3 users hope soo).

And the irony here is that also you have some random girl boobies at your avatar and sure that represents "culture"
The problem here you didn't notice that you damage your own reputation first then the community reputation .
I'm not the first one that comments in this way on the "extras" you put and I don't mean harm to you and you know that .
Some reputable people commented already on "some of your topics" (notice some , not all ) and sometimes you are going to far with conspiracy( and I write this like a friend advice) .

And many "carnage carnival" topics as you mention are very well deserved and many people learned from those carnivals including myself .
But should the "carnage carnival" repeat again ? No.
I think it's time to be more "civilised" .

Being based on x86 is largely irrelevant. Xbox 360 was easier to develop for than PS3 and both of those were PPC based. The difference was that xbox 360 had loads of the same cores that work like other CPU's work (including X86). While the PS3 had the Cell processors that were kinda different. PS2 also suffered in the same way, the PS1 however was the easier to program than the Saturn. Sony didn't learn the lesson from that, but they appear to have learnt it now.

@hellsing9 I know exactly what you mean. They always show racing games for their consoles. I even remember the early ps2 videos of gran turismo.

Gran Turismo, Gran Turismo, Gran Turismo. The marketting for ps2 was all about how good Gran Turismo would look on their console.
