Hi, I'd appreciate some help regarding this Cfw,
I tried to install it on a Ofw 3.55 and it worked just fine,
but when I tired to run multiman it got stuck on a black screen and I had to reset,
after that I thought I messed something up during the installation so I tried to reinstall the Ofw,
but as it turns out it doesn't let me form the xmb and when I try to do it from the recovery
either the ps3 doesn't recognize the controller or it gets stuck just before the update.

Meanwhile somehow the ps3 stopped working in hdmi.

Please let me know if anybody has a solution for this, thanks.

I am happy because I debricked my ps3 little time ago.

I was on 4.21 OFW and now I am downgraded to:

Rogero V3.1 CFW 3.55 include 4.25 Spoofer


two questions:

1. I MUST dehash my PS3 with Toggle QA before going to this CFW 4.30?

2. can I downgrade to 3.55 without E3flasher?

hey there
i downgraded roger 4.30 v2.5 with 4.25-3.55 update file given in this site. but instead my ps3 goes to 4.21 and there is multiman installed but it is not installing rogero 4.30 again it says corrupted data and it ask me to put update file of 4.40 or earlier
what shud i do?

Why did you downgrade Rogero v2.05 with the downgrade pup only to want to put Rogero 4.30 on it again?

Try installing from recovery mode, hold select and start to start the update.

Downgrading back to 3.55 is always possible using the following steps : Download the Downgrader PUP ---> Downgrader PUP mirror ---> Downgrader PUP Size 176MB (184,595,263 bytes) MD5: 49d80e07fc1f5ca1b0840e02e94635db Rename the downloaded file to "PS3UPDAT.PUP" and put it on your USB in: "USB\PS3\UPDATE\PS3UPDAT.PUP" While on Rogero CFW4.30, go to System Update from XMB and install the Downgrader PUP. After the Downgrader PUP installs you'll be on a hybrid CFW3.55 that will still shows the spoofed ver4.21 from system settings. In case you didn't have it Set Before, Enable QA flag by following these steps: Enable QA Download the Rebug QA_Toggle package from here ---> toggle_qa.pkg Put the "toggle_qa.pkg" on USB and Install it on the PS3. Run the "Rebug Toggle QA" from XMB, the screen will go Black and you will see HDD Led activity then if all went fine you will hear 2 or 3 Beeps and the PS3 will Restart back to XMB. If you want to make sure QA flag was set, go to "Network Settings" then apply the following key combo (all at the same time): L1 + L2 + L3 (press left stick) + R1 + R2 + dpad_down You should see Edy Viewer, Debug Settings, and Install Package Files if done correctly. Now put "Rogero CEX-3.55 CFW V3.7" on your USB in: "USB\PS3\UPDATE\PS3UPDAT.PUP" ---> Rogero CEX-3.55 CFW V3.7.PUP Start the PS3 and install "Rogero CEX-3.55 CFW V3.7" using the System Update from XMB. Once you're back on Rogero CFW3.55 v3.7 you can now install any CFW 3.55/4.21/4.30 using the System Update from XMB ( or Recovery Menu if XMB Update didn't work ).

psn stuff was not working so i thought that it will work on lower firmware
and one more thing in multiman it shows firmware 3.55 but in xmb it shows 4.21

Sounds like a spoof to me.

3.55 CFW spoofed to 4.21.

After the Downgrader PUP installs you'll be on a hybrid CFW3.55 that will still shows the spoofed ver4.21 from system settings.

So you are at that point in the hybrid CFW part i posted before. You need to follw the guide until you get to:

Once you're back on Rogero CFW3.55 v3.7 you can now install any CFW 3.55/4.21/4.30 using the System Update from XMB
