That's a secret. Well not really, its 8 and 16bit for the current public version (Why those amounts? Its a popular/known result from a bad flasher).
New one does different amounts and different structures of corruption for each encrypted area. So its a big step up from what it was. So its not just FF and its not just x amount.

Yes, right. This reading errors are mostly caused by that stupid nor clips. It depends on the offset and the data there. But it´s a big step forward, and the first validator which checks for these reading errors.
