I need a detailed step-by-step, of exactly what you're doing to get the error.

It could be a text with detailed instructions + the files used, or a video, or both.

If I can't reproduce the error, it's difficult to fix it...

1. I, right-click new database.

2. I press [+] Add Game. I type a random name. Or use the default name.

3. I press ok for "New Cheat-1"

4. I type this.

Code:
00000000 00000000 00000000
00000000 00000000 00000000
5. I press [+] Add Cheat. Press ok for "New Cheat-2"

6. I type this.

Code:
00000000 00000000 00000000
00000000 00000000 00000000
7. Now I right-click the game, export as .ps3cheat. When I open the file in notepad,

I hope you can fix the issue. Thanks Aldo!!

Ok, I got it now! Indeed it was a very simple fix.
You can download it from my web site... version is still the same.

Regarding the BSD repository... could you make the following changes?
1. Rename the current content of the Readme.md in BSD repository to CheatsDB_BSD_Version.txt
2. Make a new Readme.md in RTF like the Readme.md found in the PS3 Cheats Editor repository
(the crlf filter for *.md in .gitattributes would not be needed anymore)

Thanks Aldo for fixing it!

For BSD repo, done!

Will it be possible for CheatsDB_BSD_Version.txt to link in start menu during install?

Thanks Aldo!

I don't think that it's necessary... the link "Visit gingerbread's repository of Cheats" allows to view it easily and updated from your repository.

So I've read the op and a few recent pages and I have some questions that are unanswered:

What is "CU"?

So I just use this tool to patch my eboot with specific cheats? This basically gets around the issue of ps3usrcheat not working on higher cfw than 3.55?

"CU" = CodeUnique = custom/DRM-less version PS3usercheat hacked by oct0xor and flat_z.
PS3usercheat = The DRM cheat application for PS3 (based on multiMAN) that requires a dongle and $$$, by PS3BREAK TEAM.

"PCE" = "PS3 Cheats Editor" = it uses 2 methods to apply cheats:

1-The first method is transferring the "st.dat" (cheat database) for use with "CU".
"CU" patches memory and launches your game. "CU" currently only works on CFW 3.55, due the memory offsets for higher FW are different.

2-The second method works on all CFW (3.41-4.31), but the supported cheats are more limited.
You patch the EBOOT with the cheats and copy it to your game's folder or create a PKG.

"PCE" shows in blue the cheats that are compatible with the EBOOT method. The cheats in red work only with "CU" on cfw3.55. Both red and blue cheats work on "CU".

A third method of cheats is patching saves with Game Genie codes or BSD codes.
"BSD" = "Bruteforce Save Data"
