try clearing your internet history etc then try it again. might work might not? ************* [ - Post Merged - ] *************
check the blue tooth and wifi antennas are plugged in. did the bdvd drive work before you downgraded do you have a phat console? you may need to re-mary the drive if it is and it worked before. if you need to re-marry remove hdd format hdd in a pc replace the hdd install rogero 3.55 cfw by re-doing the fsm steps once done do the re-marry in fsm now you should be-able to de-hash (MAKE SURE QA IS ACTIVE BY DOING THE BUTTON COMBO= NO EXTRA OPTIONS SHOW = NO QA SET) |

Have a few questions here.
First I want to say thank you for this tutorial, I have successfully downgraded with rogero 3.55 fw booting! I used the teensy++ 2.0 with a phat cechK dia-002 nor flash downgrading from 4.31 and everything went smoothly. I am very new to the PS3 modding scene and would like to know if the rogero 3.55 spoofed as 4.11 is a CFW and will allow backups, HDD iso play, homebrew, etc..to run? Is this technically a modded system now? Or do I still need to install another CFW? I have not done the dehashing stage, because I do not plan on upgrading or installing another fw right now, UNLESS I do need a CFW for HDD iso play. However, dehashing does seem like it will benefit me in the long run so I will do it eventually. As of right now, should I dehash so I can upgrade to other CFW's to be able to play the latest games, or have the latest options? Or is rogero 3.55/4.11 a good fw to stick with? |

![]() You might wanna be a little bit more specific on what you did. Teensy powered by PS3? No voltage reg? This is what you can also try: 1. Power off console (unplug power cord) 2. Connect Teensy to USB (not yet recognized by PC) 3. Power on console (plug in power cord, push standby button) 4. Teensy is now recognized by PC 5a. (optional, I don't do this) Press and hold standby button until console turns off (might take a while) 5b. Unplug power cord (Teensy is still recognized by PC) 6. "NORway.py COMx" returns mf and chip id 7. Dump/Flash/whatever -- judges |

But now I have a bigger problem, when I power on the ps3 it almost instantly turns back off, no beeping or flashing lights. Even the led's for the power and eject buttons turn off. I'm assuming I have a short somewhere in the board now and I'm currently looking. Thanks so much for the help.(had to filter links due to low post count) postimage(dot)org/image/n3nvthu73/ postimage(dot)org/image/ak3yunje3/ postimage(dot)org/image/yb3r366zl/ |

remove the teensy from the ps3 clean the boards test points of solder and see if it powers up. did you dump or flash anything at all? or are you still trying to get it to detect? |

Maybe it's just the picture, but looks like all pads in the second picture for the voltage are connected when it should only be the 3v and it neighbor, and then cut the trace that goes from the 5v to the 3v. You should also look into clipping the extra end off C5. Looks like its touching C4. Could just be the picture. |
