@An_FiS yeah the update replaces some lines of hex in the E-boot and adds other's, so the reason you werent seeing any difference is cos every time you added the cheats an started the game the update would write over them and put it back to normal then apply the update info an run the game.....Dark e-boot was easy an I was having lots a fun being invincible with unlimited ammo....Awsome.

found info about the codetype "5" from SAVEDATA.JP

I wonder if anyone already mentioned it?

51047B4A 00000002
51047B48 00000000
10047B4A 00000000
cheat above is basically copy back-2-byte and overwrite it at the front-2-byte.
lets say you have 1400G in save and you applied cheat above,will get 91750400G.

how it becomes 91750400G? here's how it works:

1400(Dec) = 578(Hex)

normal codetype "2" for 1400G
20047B48 00000578

after applying
51047B4A 00000002
51047B48 00000000
10047B4A 00000000

it will become
20047B48 05780578 -> 5780578(hex) = 91750400(DEC)

codetype "5" - Copy/Paste(?)
5TXXXXXX 0000000Z (copy)
5TXXXXXX 00000000 (paste)
T0XXXXXX 00000000

Z = Number of byte(s)? 1/2/4
X = Address/Offset
T = Normal/Pointer
0 / 8 = 8bit/1byte
1 / 9 = 16bit/2bytes
2 / A = 32bit/4bytes

But anyway,its good to discover new codetype but I dont think we will use this type most of the times.

Codetype 5 is already implemented on BSD.

@aldostools Please take note of the above key.

Also @aldostools is the code style compatible with BSD? How can we format the crc info to BSD?
