I want to know how sony bans someone. And would like to know what there system looks like when they have access to your info. Like you know when you call sony and they ask for all your info well what do they use to see all that. As stupid as this sounds im trying to figure out how to get into there database , i dnt know what to call it so i can unban my ps3. Yall can say what you want Just please give me Some INFO. It wont hurt one bit thank you.

Somebody did a thread not too long ago on what they check for. I can't find it now. Looking at the more recent timeline, it seems as if it was initiated by Activision/Treyarc. At first nobody was banned...well not since the 3.55 jailbreak. Then people playing BO2 were sniffed out and blocked from their servers. A month later $ony laid down the ban hammer on all those people. Since then people on CFW have been getting banned left and right. I think $ony has just been using the method that Activision/Treyarc implemented since then.

Treyarch is the only dev that does ban users with Bo2 game.

What they do is a simple check on your HD.
If it can write files then you are on CFW.

Then they send the ban request to Sony.

Simple as 1 + 2.

And if you play from disk but still on CFW ? You might pass this check

nope they don't check to see where the game is booted from they scan the hdd like the other guy said. i'll find the topic about what they check and edit my post

i know for a fact that sony uses black and white lists for those who can access psn and those who are banned and still getting banned.
They can even ban your console and account (full ban) a partial ban is only account or only console.
If you can delete the black list, it would be truely thankfull, because i was banned 28th of februari witout a notice and they didn't want to tell me in detail what i did and only that i used cheats or illegal software.
So by all means hack that sony ******!! i hope annonymous would strike again.

HACK THAT BLACK LIST OF CONSOLEID's and PSID's!!!!!!

PS: And even if i used illegal software, tell me what i used and when so i can compare it to if i was home playing or working.
