this is what i responded to and this is indeed misinformation.
many non seagate users have used this info to accomplish their goals. to be clear i never said for you a mac and WD user to try these tools. so as I said stop spreading misinformation to the members of ps3hax!! |

, If you read this whole thread I've been trying to explain/prove (+images) it can be done. I believe this would've negated your first post. It's not magic. xD
You need a power adapter w/ your enclosure, the USB on the PS3 will not provide enough power/amps. Your enclosure maybe your problem. This is what I have tested and works on PS3 for those whom may be interested. Seagate Backup Plus Model: STCA400100 4TB. In any case good luck gber911, dunno what else to tell ya. peace, ..!!, |
