Hello , i flashed my ps3 sometime ago and than the usbports not work ,than i bought a new flexcable for it , the cable arrives today , but the ports still not work , someone maybe now why ?

can i solder any points direct to the mainboard from the ports ?

anything else is working as it should be?
do you have a external powered usb hub to try if the communication from the usb still works?

if it's only a power problem then you could probably get the 5V from the mainboard, @Sarah1331 did this before.

sometimes my usb stick get power , im really sure that the wlan board platine is broken , can i connect an usb port directly to the mainbord ?(solder)

@xAfgkiller96x , first measure if the usb ports do get power, if you read 5V, then bypassing is pretty useless.

the problem is that you have a seperate board with the ub ports, and i did not find a picture how it looks.

on a JSD-001 board the bypass would probably look like this.:

JSD-001 usb bypass

if you do a bypass like this you are also bypassing that 8 legs ic, that monitor the current that is going to the ports, so do everything at your own risk.!
