I fail to understand how anyone can do this legally.

With Windows and the like, it is the licence you activate, but to the best of my knowledge the installation and playing of a game is not licence based.

Also, and I could be wrong, there is nothing that says you are not allowed to buy any physical item and then sell it on at a later date to another person. The only thing that the law requires we do is delete any and all items that are installed on our kit when we sell the physical media on.

In the end they are just chopping their nose off to spite their face as the overall sales of games will decrease and they will lose money if they follow this route, but then, greed does seem to make people dumb as a bag of slugs these days lol.

I agree. If they do stop 2nd hand game sale, most people including me will download it, and with guys like duplex for the ps3 scene they would be butt fvcked.

Their source says this:
  • While no confirmation on an announcement date, E3 will be “Party Central” in the Xbox booth.
  • The new ’720′ will have 3x the processing speed of the current 360.
  • No hard release date but it looks like Holiday 2013.
  • 2 launch versions. 320 GB Arcade / 500 GB Pro. Exact pricing is unknown.
  • 1 TB HDD available as a separate purchase.
  • It will not include Blu-Ray.
  • No picture was available as prototype consoles are packaged in a 360 slim case to “avoid complications” about the design until announcement.
  • Tech Specs; AMD eight-core x64 1.6GHz CPU, Direct3d 11.x 800MHz GPU, and 8GB of DDR3 RAM.
  • Xbox Smartglass is still a feature in use.
  • No word on Kinect 2.0.
  • No word on “Immersive” technology being implemented.

First im hearing of no blu ray player. Now does that mean no disc ROM at all or just not one that supports blu-ray?

I wish I could say rumours for next gen just seem to be getting better and better.
