You could try editing the param.sfo file with ps3tools and selecting 1080p. I have not tried
doing this i just happened to notice the option while editing a param file to enable vita remote
play

your placeing lose data into the skyrim chache it loads automaticly at start. you just gotta be placeing the files in the right spot... im gonna re release these as is but with a video tutorial series of videos explaining all sorts of things includeing how to get these to work... along with a few new mods ill have ported

We have all tried M8, we are not noobs, so far this doesn't work. We have not had one confirmation here of it working

It doesn’t work this way. Period. Skyrim prefer .ddx files over .dds, an only when he can't find ddx, then he look for dds. So, if you have two files with the same name like "texture.ddx" (being standard texture) and texture.dds (HD texture), then texture.dds will be ignored.
You can add new mods (googleit) which not contain new textures (and probably _any_ HD textures, like "lady body" for example, won't work), or new meshes, and so on (googleit/youtubeit), but only handful number of them. And you need to repack it - just change of letters to capital, and putting in "data" floder doesn’t work either.

Yeah, editing the sfo was the first thing i tried then i tried to set resolution in skyrim ini but that will only work for pc. isize h=1080 ect.. so i dunno what else i could try.

I'm playing Skyrim since a few days ago. I see Snake_Plissken_PMW uploaded SKYRIM 2K HD DLC and the Official HD Texture Pack for PS3

So I read he had problems with the Oficial Textures in HD and with 2K HD DLC Is not possible to download all the files :S

Can you reupload the files to mega or other similar website?

Also I want to say thanks for your big effort to bring to us this new experience in Skyrim.

It could be great if you merge both topics in only one big release

I stated that I will re upload the 2k hd and the hrtp packs when I can re deiscover the change in .ini needed to be present in order for the loose TEXTURES and MESHES folders to work.

my original upload was trash because I did not pack the new skyrim.ini that would have activated the textures in game.

I will rerelease everything once my ps3 is back from being reballed. only then can I obtain my master.ini that enables this and so much more. and I have to wait till I can get the files of the ps3 as I have failed in reinventing the wheel.

ALSO YOU GUYS we have SKYRIM CANNABIS MOD DLC that adds a whole bunch of new content and some hours of fun to the game, you guys can check it out here on ps3 hax, just google ps3 hax cannabis mod
ill prob do just one more update of new mods ported to ps3 and then re release the HRTP and the SKYRIM2KHD pack working
