Actually the user experience some kind of pain, suit with SECOND (Semiautonomous Enhanced Combat Ops: Neuro-integration Delivery AI) acts quickly to shutdown the sensation to keep on going.

Nanosuit 2.0 it's the only one so far can achieve this.

Well I haven't played any of the Crisis games, but to me what's not too far down the line is MGS use of nanomachines and everything else (sans emo-cyberninjas, and the like).

I can absolutely see soldiers state of mind being supported (I could say manipulated) to drown out fear, and psycho tendencies. Maybe nullify the sensation of pain? Who knows, maybe at some point you'll have soldiers with healing factors ala Wolverine made out of nanomachines... in all honesty the last thing we need is quasi-immortal soldiers. The one thing that might deter a lot of wars is the fact that people can die, how will it be without that?

True.
But the *creepy side* of this history is that all related to this nanosuit even if it's sci-fi based on science facts, most of them are real.
You can build something similar with a nice investor just for fun but the way Crysis series explains that you are just a suit nothing more, you are far from being a immortal, it's cool.

Hence in order to use functions of it, you have those nanomachines pumped on your bloodstream and spread all over your nervous system.
Controlling emotions (MGS anyone? xD) it's a doble edged sword.

SECOND continuously regulates dopamine, lactic acid, and corticosteroid levels, anticipates and counteracts debilitating stress and fatigue reactions. The suit also actively augments and maintains the wearer's adrenaline, GABA, and tricyclic levels. It should be noted however that prolonged exposure to agonistic neuroinhibitors can result in long-term damage to metabolic systems.

All this medical terms (i don't know how to say it on english) are true.
So the one who uses the suit all the time is a time bomb.

Give you a superhuman boost but kills you too. (Seems fare to me)

Now to the real world and wars and endless problems, we DON'T need a super soldier neither a suit like this.

But as MGS 4 (for example) there's enough room for many wars so instead of put stop on them, they control the battlefield and soldiers emotions. To keep cash coming in.
I only see a big paradox on this kind of content.

Maybe we are becoming those machines after all.
