Brick ps3 (valid dump)

Hello there,

I got a brick ps3 that I'm trying to fix. Well I did everything correctly till the very last step (which I thing I did wrong). I'm really stucked and I would really appreciate any help. Here is what I did.

1- solder tristate to ground

2- update E3 flasher 001111 (OK)

3- creating dump 001000 (OK valid good dump)

4- downgrading with e downgrader 000001 ( 3 bips ps3 short down)

I think the part I miss was to flash back the original dump 100000

So here is my question if tristate to ground is to halt the ps3 why mine is shorting down by itself at step 4. Or can it be that the tristate is damage or something?

Could someone out there help me fix it. I wonder if the tristate ain't working anymore

is the PS3 turns off when you solder Tri to SBE?
did you put the flasher in Fun Mode (100000)?

Yes the PS3 was off when soldering Tristate. I dismantle it to get the mother board then solder the tri to ground

No I didn't put the flasher in fun mode. I went straight downgrade it 000001. I think that where I did wrong. So now even with tristate solder to ground the ps3 don't halt it just turn itself off.

Don't know what to do to fix it.

Thats not the switch for downgrading. Why did you even begin with the tristate, its not needed in your case.

Read the guide on the ps3devwiki.com

I have downgraded PS3's before with success. In this case the console was bricked while downgrading for the very 1st time. Well problem was 3 bipping when turn on the device after shorting down by itself. So in other to keep power on I have to solder tristate to ground.

My question is that why the console is turning itself off if tristate
to ground is to half it.

Mother board number: DYN-001
Wonder if that could be board issue as tristate to ground was working fine till I did switch 000001 to downgrade. It just gave 3 bipping then power off. So I wonder if it because I miss step where I have to flash back the dump 100000
