Yes Cobra ODE will work on latest FW that's one of the key features of it but you'll need to be on 3.55 cfw to get your Bluray Drive key then you can upgrade to latest OFW. For resellers and to check release dates just keep checking their official site. http://www.cobra-ode.com/index.html

They say it can do the higher firmware consoles, but since there really has not been anything to confirm this, aside from a statement, no one has a 100% answer til its release.

I was under the impression you solder it on to a SLIM 3k/ ULTRA SLIM 4k and in doing so connect it to the place your drive would normally be. On a PHAT or SLIM 2k-2.5k you would just clip it in between the drive and the mobo at some point.
The ODE replaces the drive and I guess (seeing as there is no proof of this working on 3k/4k yet) that it extracts the keys from the EID4, writes to the device and can sit in the place of the drive. If it needs the drive to be functional then wtf... I know xKey for 360 can work without a drive. If it doesn't do that then its even more worthless and full of sh!t than I thought.
