you did read the replies mentioning a hardware flasher didn't you? Unless you are currently on 3.55 ofw you won't be using any USB device to jailbreak your ps3.

I think he knows he needs a flasher.

But if it is this hard to just run min ver check, I don't even want to see what happens when he opens his PS3 up.

LOL I dont think the version check will be hard, you guys gave good instructions. I just messed up by unplugging my HDD without ejecting & it didnt help that the FAT conversion was half way done. I been unplugging my HDD for years without eject because I never knew you had to do this. Guess it all caught up to the poor bastard

You couldn't have unplugged it while converting even if you ejected, it wouldn't have allowed to eject. You should have waited for it to finish the conversion, or even better, you should have left it alone and used a flash drive!

Yeah im starting to regret not using a flashdrive! Im on my like 2nd recovery software called TestDisk. At least now I know what NOT to do

After searching for many File Recovery software's, none worked. Im currently using Stellar Phoenix 5. Its a $50 program so I hope this crap works. I seen it has more reviews and more positive ratings then most recovery software.
