The First PSP Emulator For iOS Now Plays At 60FPS! Today we’ve got some different news and it is good one for iOS gamers, probably you heard about PPSSPP, the first PSP emulator for iOS. While the initial screens and video looked promising, at the time, the frame-rate was really low due to some technical issues. Now, it appears that those technical issues — the lack of JIT compiling — have been ironed out, as new video has surfaced showing PPSSPP playing Wipeout pure at a buttery smooth 60 frames per second. ZOMG it works perfectly! Update the master info on your PS3 controller, connect it to blutrol, select a game, configure it in blutrol, open game and play!

BUT using a PS3 controller on IOS device is killer feature now!

Dont know why its taken so long, you have been able to use PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii control pads on Android devices for years now.

Probably the fact that Xcode is the easiest way to build apps for iOS (if you do not want to spend your energy and time installing some toolchain), and Android being "more" open by default?
