Seriously mate I ain't no expert !! If it was the problem you will eventually lose all picture sound, No USB.....

And to fix maybe there is someone on here that could do a reball for you or a local pc repair shop.

But like I say mate I ain't know EXPERT it's just something that happen to me a while back

okay...thanks a lot dude...i really appreciate ur cocern...i guess i've gotta make an xpert take a good look @ it for me.....thought it was a power or software problem cuz the whole thin started after some pkg installs (last saved game) and then when shutting down a message asking for auto shutdown after background download message appeared which i ignored but kept on coming after every shut down...so i eventually ticked yes and d@s when thus whole thing started.

its a cechm03 motherboard is dia-001 i used your The Ultimate Fool Proof Guide:Ps3 hardware downgrading and everything was going perfect i checked the nor with your guide and i checked it with BwE nor validator all checked out green ticks all the way had it checked in the Dump Checking Thread it all come back YOUR DUMP IS VALID so i extracted with FlowRebuilder had all the right files and folders so i patched it it all went fine it was when i started to try to flash the patched nor back it wouldent it wasent finding the teensy when i put norway.py com3 it would come up with Pinging...
Set SB to tristate

and then i put NORway>NORway.py COM3 write flash.patch.bin and it just said tryin trying trying it just said trying for about 5 10 mintues but nothing happen so i exit out of cmd and started looking at my test points for shorts could find anything wrong tryed to power up ps3 nothing black screen no usb hdd and so i desoldered the teensy from the ps3 becouse i dident think flash went ahead but still the same black screen no usb control sync hdd if i power it on it stays on no yellow light or anything and yes i know it was a **** plan with the pennies should just stay away from you tube videos hahaha thank you for your help

soldering or using a clip?

i think either the clip has come loose or the soldering needs re-doing

also if its soldered be really carfull removing the wires as points can come off once all wires are off take a good close look and see if there are any cracked test points / missing test points

yer i give it a realy good going over but cant find no cracks or lifted pads it was all fine till i tryed to flash the patch back to ps3 tomorrow im going to install the teensy see if i can get it to wright back one of my good dumps if i can if not it must just be a hardware fault or something thanks for your help

dont just write back.
when you get it wired back up you need to make a new dump and compare it with your good valid dump in hxd
if they match then its wired correctly if they dont then the wiring is wrong.

if you just flash and the wiring is wrong then your creating problems for yourself.
