I am on 4.31 OFW, I have followed Method 1, I have validated my dump, everything went all right, but when a put CEX DOWNGRADER on Usb drive (PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT) it says: data is corrupted 8002f225. I have checked with MD5 checker everything OK with files.

Please help me solve problem. Can I try with Rebug 999 downgrader?

Try reformatting ur thumb drive in FAT32(even tho it already is). Many ppl have had odd errors and that usually helps.

I formatted Usb in windows fat32, but nothing has changed. Any other idea? Can I go back to 4.31 OFW? Or can use 4.31 CFW?

thanks for all the help this was a big help i just got one more qeustion i just finshed part 2 i installed qa i was on 4.31 now im 4.25 to 3.55 Hybrid CFW can i install any cfw from here or do i still need to install ofw 3.55 then install cfw

From the hybrid CFW, intstall and run the app toggle qa.
Then use Condor Updater to install OFW 3.55.
Now update to any CFW from system update on the XMB.

You can use Miralatijera 4.31 CFW.

Then if you want to install a different CFW, use the CEX Downgrader, toggle qa on, enable Qa flag, install OFW 3.55 with Condor updater, then update to any CFW from system update.

Hi I have ps3 with min firmware 3.56.I need to use Three Musketeers Patcher for patching dump and then instal Rogero 4.30 v2.5 or MiralaTijera 4.31.If i want back to OFW what i need to do?

Like the guide says:

(If you have a 3.56 minimum firmware cech-25xx, you will need to use either Rogero_4.30_v2.05_PS3UPDAT.PUP, or MiralaTijera_CFW_4.31_PS3UPDAT.PUP)(If you have 3.56 min. version cech-25xx on OFW 4.31 you will need to use MiralaTijera)

If you want to go back to OFW, flash your original dump, enter the recovery menu, and choose option 6. System update. Then install OFW.
