It does that beeping thing, But all I do is press the ps button select '' quit game '' and you get 3 beeps an the ps3 turns itself back on, when you activate the game in multi-man an you get to the xmb all your other icons for things have gone, like the ps3's changed over to ntsc format or somthing, its like it lets you play the game but needs to revert back to pal once your done. But it does work as ive been playing it. I'll have a look an see if I can upload it to rghost for you, allthough you dont have to sign up to the one its on, you can get it as a guest.....; )

I'm still getting black screen using the method and files posted Daveyshambles.
Here's what I did.

My system: running 3.55 Kmeaw, MM 4.20 Full

Backup TombRaider on External USD drive
/usb006/GAMEZ/BLES-01780/

Downloaded Davey zip files and copied over the original PARAM.SFO and EBOOT.BIN files.

Installed Sen Enabler_Disabler_for3.55, 9.99 spoofer and disabler.

First, I tried the Sen_Enabler_Disabler. After reboot, went to System, it says 4.31
Launch MM (using latest 4.20.00 full), goto TombRaider [] game settings,
check both External and BD Mirror as suggested. Press Start.
It goes back to XMB. Went over */app_home/PS3_GAME and press X to launch.
It seems to launch.. then Black screen. Waited for 3 more mins.. nothing.

2nd try:
After hard reset, re-ran Sen Enabler/Disabler.. back to revert back to 3.55
Launch Spoofer 9.99. reboot. Checked System, it says firmware 9.99.
Went back into MM, made sure both External and BD Mirror checked. Press Start.
Went over XMB, launch it again. Same deal - Black screen.

Hmm.. wondering anyone else having same issues despite the new patch files posted by Davey?

You didnt put a disc in the drive and press '' select an X '' on the disc icon. I am on the exact same set up as you, kmeaw 3.55 on MM 4.20.00 full, Im only using SEN enabler.

Thanks for response. You're right. I didn't put the disc in there.
So, I tried it.

Using SEN enabler.. finally got it! Put disc in, went over to MM,
made sure options has BD mirror and External, press Start.

I can see the disc icon and Press Select + X from there. Works!!

BUT, after quitting.. restarted the system. Try to go back into the game after short break, using again same method. The disc icon won't appear anymore and restarting from MM or from */app_home/PS3_Game/ even with Select + X

How do you get the disc icon to come back? I got the disc in there drive as well.

The patch file posted by Davey in post #21 does not require an account.

But, if you're able to successfully make this work.. please share how.

I was able to make it work after inserting disc.. but second time.. doesn't work.
Goes back into black screen.

You may have to run redirection reset before playing again as the ps3 doesnt allways put the ps3_game folder back into the game file, you can run redirection reset or manualy put it back in multi-man....

This 'redirection reset' is just like Unchecking the BD-Mirror and Checking it again in MM. Is that correct?

Its basically like turning your ps3 on an off so that the icons in the game section of the xmb go back to normal and the disc icon say's what game is in the drive rather than tomb raider, so if your disc in your machine is Dead rising 2 then thats what it would say.... Redirection reset used to come with the old multi-man downloads in the old days, I just kept it on my machine in case I needed it, wich I do...You have to apply my E-boot an param to Tomb raider, install either or both of the spoofer's. Activate a spoofer ( SEN enabler/disabler ), load multi-man an check BD mirror an press start, once at the xmb highlight the disc icon an press select an ''X'' to boot the game. Once youve finished playing for whatever reason ( smoke a cig ) simply turn off the ps3 an restart it ( if you havent got redirection reset ) an load the game as useall in multi-man....I know it sounds like a hassle but it's easier for me as I have redirection reset.... I have a real old copy of multi-man I can link you if you want a copy of redirection reset, It just beats switching your ps3 on an off all the time buy the switch.
