I am a moron for messing with my stuff and not taking others advice. My friend has a 120GB ps3 it's a Cech 2001A jailbreakable I think. Mine is 320Gb 3k sol for jb model. He's willing to trade me consoles. Is it worth it? What should I do because I really want jailbreak. Any advice would help

Yes a 2k is jailbreakable but you would still have to use a hardware flasher to downgrade to 3.55 if it's on OFW 3.56+

It would be better if you could trade it with one either on 3.55 OFW or already on CFW to save urself the trouble of downgrading because it's a little difficult.

Well I heard playerkp 420 offers a downgrade service I might go through him if I do the trade. But I will be loosing gigabytes if I trade.

I think that would be an even trade. I wouldn't worry about the gigabytes your losing. Just get an external hard drive to keep your games on.

Yes, it does. When you get it back, it will be ready for you to backup your games.

I install the CFW of your choice. Usually either the latest Rogero or REBUG. And the latest multiMAN and Showtime media player.
