Decrypt:
ps2classic d cex GTASA_NPUD_KLIC.KEY ISO.BIN.ENC ISO.BIN meta_out

Make any modifications on the game by extracting game data folder of ISO.BIN (Can be a simple CD-ROM ISO9660 image or UDF DVD image like gtasa) you can use Ultraiso or any other iso tool and now.

Encrypt:
ps2classic e cex GTASA_NPUD_KLIC.KEY ISO.BIN ISO.BIN_mod.ENC ISO.BIN.ENC UP9000-NPUD20946_00-0000000000000000

UP9000-NPUD20946_00-0000000000000000 = Content ID

Again this example can be done too when you want to load other game so you use other iso from any game and you can change DISC ID on PARAM.SFO, ISO.BIN.EDAT by following flatz instructions on first post.

Or you can even use savedata from original PS2 by modifying vmc.

Thanks to flatz now we can do many things to explore the new ps2 emulator.
Did you tested it using other game as GTA SA?

I've tested Final Fantasy X - changed GameID to GTA SA ID (in FFX iso using hex editor) - game works fine on PCSX2 but after encryption and launching on PS3 screen stays black forever :/

Some friend tested a some games including open ps2 loader and it looks like there is a problem with the size of the image because he get just black screen when making any iso that differs in size.

all dvd games ps2 classic have 4.3gb (dvd limit)
all cd games ps2 classic have 700mb (cd limit)

and when i decrypt it obviusly if you open the image on any iso tool you will see that is actually more little than that so it looks like sony force image size by using some padding on the .iso.

so after having many blackscreens he just try to edit the .ELF on the original bigger padded iso 4.3gb on hex editor and put .ELF from Open ps2 loader and now at least it get PLAYSTATION 2 LOGO because it was all the time black screen.

so it looks like ps2 net emulator needs a fixed size of the image to be mounted at all. so at least it doesnt looks like a compatibility problem because Open ps2 loader and many games tested already work even on 2.60 soft emu on non backwards.

but i'm not sure about this maybe we need to ask flatz if this can be possible

No, PS2NEWemu.self exist only in 4.XX FW.

//Edit

I've managed to run uLe! :D

//Edit 2

Under uLe mass: / (usb) and nethost doesn't work So maybe ps2newemu doesn't support usb

Great how did you did it?, you change the .ELF on your originally decrypt iso.bin to ulaunchelf .elf?.

ps2newemu doesn't support network and about usb is weird because it was already supported too on 2.60 emus or cobra-usb 3.55 on non backwards console.

http://www.tortuga-cove.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2258

I think is a problem of drivers .irx being loaded because usb is working even on old buggy emulator so maybe that ule doesn't load proper ones, and the usb drive must be fat32 format.

There can be many things happen (maybe need to do something with usbd.irx) but this is a great step.

Are you as clued up on this stuff as you sound? (not an insult mate ) It's just I think you're wrong about the padding stuff, not all PS2 ISOs are padded out to 4.3GB - There are quite a lot but by no means all notable ones are basically all Square-Enix games, and Capcom. But definitely not all DVD based ones, also there are a few double layer ones too.

I've used "CDMage" App - Imported uLe ELF file as SLUS_209.46 ELF (it will automaticly adds padding to file to match original size).

About USB i've use usb flash that is formatted in fat32 (this pendrive works without issues on my ps2 and ps3).

Game must be "padded"

Another portion of testing :P

I've picked up Okami PAL (is smaller than decrypted GTA SA). Added padding to match GTASA's size (game still working on PCSX2) but after encryption even PS2 logo won't show up - PS3 freeze completly and i need to turn it off by unplugging Ac cable :/
