I've been wondering about that too. He might not have hacked CU3 though, he might have just found out how to decrypt their cheat list or something.

I dont know. I cant contact him at CMP because they kicked me out for asking a question. Not to sure if there is anything special about the codes since I believe they're stealing them from here. I own the dongle and its using the same codes.
I just wish people werent so power tripped and selfish and would just release this stuff to all to enjoy. If I knew how to decrypt mine I would spread it wide and far. |

Wow, I just posted what I saw in his video on the CMP thread and said nice! But they deleted my comment! Its bad censorship on that forum. Seems that forum has issues and or mad that CU3 probably took some cheats from them, but how dare they censore me when I shared DMC eboots on that forum and confirmed medos codes worked.
I just posted in in Vosmans God of War Ascension CU3 cheats thread some more: "How dare you censore my nice comment that included additional info of the CU3 cheat! Your CMP forum has issues, and I dont care if after this post that you will delete me and or ban me! I have shared my DMC eboots here and confirmed medo codes here. I'm not a kid, I'm 42 yrld and have been around lots of forums and this one seems to have issues."

My drunken rant isn't stopping. Skip away to the next post.
It's kind of confusing. I go to the CMP forums probably at least once every day but rarely check posts about games I don't own nor care about, yet never really see much things that might be a out of control evil. Every so often I see medo in a post in the codes hacked section somewhere saying something along the lines of "stop requesting things in the codes hacked section noobies!!!" or Lee saying to people to post it in the requests section. I couldn't really blame them though. The PS2 section with endless pages used to drive me insane. I always wished for useful info being separated from stuff that doesn't really help, like "can you do this, this, this, this, and this kthanxplzthanxadvnse" over and over mixed with things that were mostly not useful to anyone. I started finding codes because I got sick of asking for somebody to do it for me. First game was Resident Evil Outbreak File #1 for the PS2. People found interesting codes for the first version but not the second version 1.1 or 1.4 or whatever it was officially. I kind of said "f@ck this" and just started with taking the codes already present and kept adding 4 to the address. I wish everybody else would have done the same because that alone could have found ENDLESS MOUNTAINS of codes, but I notice I'm the only 1 human being on this planet that deviated rather than stayed helpless. Yeah, I'm a jerk for saying that, I don't deny it. A request section for the PS3 is borderline worthless at the moment though. We don't really have the hardware to do crap. You can do watchpoints, breakpoints, and all kinds of fun stuff with older console stuff like the Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo, Gameboy, Playstation 1, Nintendo 64, and whatever else because computers aren't as badly a slow piece of junk these days and people took the time and effort to make things happen. Now though, we don't have the stuff to do the last generation thoroughly and now we are 1 generation past that which is much farther ahead for hardware. About all you can do for codes is *hope* you come across things, otherwise you are screwed which makes a request section almost pointless because you either hit the right spot or don't. It's not an issue of uppediness or eliteness or being a jerk. You either hopingly come across it intentionally or you accidentally find it, it's not an issue of people being jerks. I will never pick on people with the some form of them not fulfilling my request because that is very irrational to me. You either get lucky or you don't, you're not intentionally being a jerk. The further games advance, the more game developers do weird things to try to fool people. Many games you'll have those 10 lives and making that permanent is a simple thing of preventing the game from changing that value. Others, it might be some random crazy endless amount of weird operations that would fool anyone. You go from load 10 lives, subtract 1, store the new value of 9. They'll make or combine it with things to be rotate left this many bits, AND these things, OR these things, ADD this, MULtiply this, OR these other things, SUBtract this, branch to this function that does a dozen other confusing things, which goes into other functions to do even more confusing things, goes here, checks the current time of day and makes a number of it to draw a circle to make some number to do this and that, and who comprehends the gibberish at this point while another 50 confusing things that occur only to subtract that 1 life from your current amount or lives. Who knows? Who even has the time for that endless gibberish? Those red parts in the text are actually operations too if you weren't sure. AND, OR, XOR, NOR, RLDICL, FSUBS, ADD, MR, STFDU, RLWIIASIFIASDFAGo who on earth knows. It can be incredibly confusing. I don't even comprehend half of the PS3 gibberish. Not knowing the lingo hasn't stopped me from finding things. I just need basic understanding like Loading some value, ADDing or SUBtracting something, SToring the new value, or whatever and I just start finding all of those operations, changing maybe 1000 different things at a time and making a package to test, taking a minute or so to see if there are unique effects, and using that to find useful codes people can use. All you need is basic thought, go with it. Maybe 1000 guesses at a time cause nothing you can even notice in a game, maybe it causes 100 different things that just might lead somebody to a useful code. Don't sit there and "request" it from others, do it on your own. IT WORKS! On the PS3 I started by opening the insanely large text file made for games on the PS3. I only looked for limiting branches which are always "ble", "blt", "bge", pr "bgt" with usually mostly maybe 16 bytes skipped, comparison values to limits like 99 lives or 99999999 money, or went all out and went for any "store" operation. Stop being the guys that request and make it happen by guessing!! It works even better for any console generation before because they at least have cheat devices making guessing for memory code locations very easy. I'm the only guessing person. There needs to be a few more hundreds of me and there would be almost no more requests. You've got an entire life's time, you must have at least 2 hours for yourself at some point. In the end though on those forums currently, could you admit something good though? "I went there, click on "S", found my game, clicked it, and the thread was only a few posts with nothing but codes." Beats the living hell out of "I went there, used the search function, found my game thread with 50 pages, used the thread search function for "unlimited lives" and ended up with 40 pages worth of posts of people asking "can smbdy plz mak inf lives plz k thnx advans?" and gave up!!! *without knowing it's been posted 100 times*" I know I'm evil for it, I like the exact useful info without going through the 500 requests and thanks and whatevers. It may seem Nazi, but it's clean, efficient, and straight to the point. You don't need to go through endless questions, arguments, thanks, requests, random off topic things that go for pages that have nothing to do with anything, rants like mine, complaints, politics, drama, and endless crap. You go to a thread in the PS3 hacked section, the first post is codes, and there's usually less than 5 pages with a few things and more codes throughout it, and you don't waste time. I love it compared to some of the PS2 generation days where threads just never ended and just kept going with stuff that helped nobody. I was a year too late for the Kingdon Hearts 1 & 2 threads, but I don't even want to know how endless those threads were compared to how they were trimmed down which was already very long searching for those posts that had codes. You can go through useless posts forever. I know there's reports on problems with codes, but sometimes the user that found the codes really can't figure out how to fix the problems. Burnout really occurs because you can only try finding codes and things for so long before you go insane or you maybe just had luck and ended up somewhere in code that wouldn't lead you any where else to fix problems. What you get is what you get. People aren't intentionally being jerks, they can only do so much. They might get lucky, they might end up with something bad. I need to go buy the games to find codes. Nobody is buying them for me, I'm not getting anything free. The time I spend I don't get back. There are endless hours of getting nothing. Nobody on this planet is doing me favors. What you get is what you get. Our numbers are few. All I see is zombikillah, me, vosman, medo, and xtatu. That's 5 people on this planet, and zombikillah is mainly a call of duty guy making it 4 people. You are free to help us any time. Skiller is probably busy with real life, like Pyriel, szalay, lee4, along with the few people that did specific games only like Resident Evil games. Our numbers are less than 10 for the PS3. Less than 10 people can't do everything, there's new games every month, nobody buys them for us, we need to go to work to earn money to live, kids, family, work, friends, you know the process. We do what we can with what we have. There's all of you and I don't know what is stopping you other than the fear of not knowing of how to even start. Give it a try. It drove me insane starting to learn, but it's just like anything else. Persevere. The more you try and the more you do, the more you learn, the better you get. I'm proof. Gorillas learn sign language well and try teaching other gorillas, and those other gorillas learn and start using it. You aren't hopeless idiots, don't think that for even 1 second. Try. Try, and keep trying. The more you try, the more you learn, the better you become, the more you are able to help others, the more they learn, the more others learn, the more everybody improves and it is no longer some mystic impossible thing, the less people ask and instead offer to others to learn and use and are able to help every person, the more every person learns to do it and DOES it and teaches others to do it, the more every person becomes happy, and the more people look back and feel dumb because it was that simple. TRY!! Last edited by bungholio; 03-18-2013 at 08:54 PM. |
