as for it in circuit you need external power (don't wire 3.3 to mobo from skeet) |

![]() R7 is removed and bridged R8 = removed and open must be bridged for NOR/external ATX? u say..both closed for NOR/external ATX power correct, and yes i have NO 3.3v wire from/to Progskeet 1.2 only 2 GND wires from skeet to mb and 3.3v/gnd from atx to mb should it detect device and try dump? even tho its not supported? ![]() thx again..me noob keeps trying ![]() edit: ok so for skeet 1.0 and onboard flashing it requires external ATX power like i'm doing atm..right? before wasting more...it would be great info to know if the skeet 1.2 is atleast capable in dumping the DIA-001 NOR? before messing with Progskeet 1.0...what a stuff haha

I always have solder blob connecting r8 and r7 If I use ps3 to power mobo or external atx I do not connect 3.3 from skeet to mobo If I do a NAND console I connect 3.3 to mobo and never use ps3 to power or atx The only console you should wire 3.3 to mobo from skeet is a NAND console and never use any other power supply Does this help |

right..right..then it must be me or there's some resistor confusion..right?
just asking as atm i have only R7 solder blobbed/bridged/closed and R8 open for NOR, then one more try i guess with Progskeet 1.2 and both R7/R8 solder blobbed/closed/bridged ![]() cheers guys..

I'll say this again ... if your using a Progskeet 1.2 for NOR then R7 must be open and R8 must be closed. So far I have been able to read from 2 different boards but of course no writing.

Isn't he using a 1.2? If he is dumping a NOR he needs to have R7 open. Why do you say closed?
Also if your getting "device not found" in Winskeet make sure your using the WinUSB driver for the Progskeet. That is the error you will get when using the libusb driver. |
