All things retro; Gaming related of course...

Just wondering if anyone on here collects retro systems, games, memorabilia, etc? I just recently got back into collecting again, about 9-10 years ago I sold off 3 NES's, and just over 400 games for $50 to a guy I knew for his foster son. Just curious to see if anyone else collects at all? I just picked up an NES with 14 games, 2 pads, a zapper, an original Xbox with 1 controller (no cords), and 4 games for $65

If anyone does collect, I am in the market for a few boxes (Metroid, Mario 3, Wrecking Crew, and Double Dragon), as most NES carts I have are boxed. Also looking for a decent priced Vectrex.

@OoZic is a huge collector, I wouldn't be surprised if he has more Retro consoles than every member on this forum combined.

I'm not exactly a collector, but I usually keep my previous generation consoles:

Consoles: Sega CDX ( + 30 SEGA-CD games and 20 MegaDrive cartridges), two NES clones, Master System, 3DO, PS1, PS2, PS3, Original XBOX, XBOX 360

Handhelds: Original DS, PSP 2x, GBA, Sega Gopher / MD Play (firecore-based)

Computers: 48k Spectrum clone (TK-90X), MSX 1, MSX 2, Amiga 500 (recently purchased)

The enjoyment of playing Kid Chameleon using the 6-button Sega controller on the original MegaDrive and Manic Miner on the Spectrum rubber keyboard cannot be emulated

@OoZic has a huge retro collection

I absolutely loved the 3do, I tried buying a few off craigslist but never got a response back (both were brand new postings too ) I sold off all my old systems throughout the years, not because I needed the cash, but because I figured I would never use them again.

Now I think I am having a mid-life crisis or something, because I want them all back again, haha! I currently have:

NES, 2 PS1's, 4 PS2's, 2 Xbox's, Wii, PS3, N64, 5 DS lites, and around 600-700 games total between them all. Mostly PS3 games, but I have everything from boxed Atari 2600 games, to current gen games (game boy, nes, snes, sega, atari, 360, xbox, ps1, ps2, ps3, ds, n64).

Planning to go out hunting for some more consoles this weekend, everybody selling on craigslist around here seems to think old = valuable which is not always the case. Yellowed SNES's are posted constantly around $75-$80 firm; it's ridiculous. lol.

I think the 3DO was the most expensive console I've ever bought , the launch price was insane (u$699).

You would need to live 300 years to be able to play all your games, it's really a huge collection

Last console I purchased was the Ormatu Video SpelComputer boxed:

http://www.old-computers.com/museum/...asp?st=2&c=829

^^ love this site

Someday soon (when the cold is out of the air) I will make a list and publish it here..... it will be a long list

Ow, reason I bought the Ormatu is we (mom/dad had an electronics store) sold them long time ago and were left with some unsold cassettes. So I have this console now with a lot of games in mint sealed condition

Got everything from our Commodore 64 up to the Wii in the loft. 360 and PS3 have their places reserved up there
