Can I chip in if you bypass USB power and feed 5v direct to the pin of the USB you will explode the caps in the power pack ;(

Remove all caps and power ic connecting to the USB ports before making bypass

how will caps explode if you make a bypass like this.
it's the same 5V supply, connection to VDD of the ic is cut.

but it was useless to try anyway, i think there's no communication from the host.

what i am affraid of is that there's no communication on the usb lines, your usb ports are getting power because of the bypass, but if there's no communication it's useless.

btw, since you have a meter you can now measure that the ports do get the 5V.

the last thing you can check is if the two usb lines from the bluetooth to mainboard are connected.
you can do this by setting the meter to the 200 ohm range and put one probe on point 1 on the bluetooth board, and the other probe on point 1 on the mainboard.
if they are connected you should have a low reading, like 1-2 ohm.
do the same for point 2.

this is to test if maybe the ribbon cable is not 100%

but i'm affraid our bypass is useless, and that the problems are too big for us.
maybe @baileyscream have some ideas.

Yeah they are getting power
1.563 - 1.575 kQ or ohm or something like that .
If i buy a new Wlan board would the ports work ?

is there nothing i can do ? @Mr.Dutch @Sarah1331 ?

can i bypass the Ribbon connection?

if you measured the both traces from the bluetooth board to the mainboard, for resistance, and they both measure about 1.5 ohm, then you know the ribbon cable is ok on that part.

we know the usb controller get power also (3,3V).
so i think there's no communication between the usb controller and the mainboard, and that's why the ports did not get power in the first place.

so bypassing the power to the ports was useless because there's no communication, so basically the ports are still dead.

i doubt the problem is hardware wise, so getting a replacement bluetooth board is a long shot.

i ran out of ideas, and there's a flasher involved so the problem may still be software wise.

your problem is just not a simple one i guess, or @playerkp420 , @baileyscream or @3absiso must have a bright idea.

so the bottom line is, you now have 5V at the usb ports, but's that's about it.
i guess your dongle to get into fsm also dousnt work?

My dongle is getting just a red light (its a E3 card reader) and this dongle works.
