have you ever tried to look up the printed code in a smd codebook? , i did and it's a nightmare nothing matches.

i'm almost sure it's a npn transistor, just like the next example in the bluray drive.

and my guess is that the emitter is connected to the chip enable input of the voltage regulator.



@Sarah1331 , no i'm not sure, because most transistors on the mainboard have built in serie resisters, but the collector is always on the same spot, so it can't be a pnp.
and i don't see a serie resister in the base trace.

There is 5v on the collector, 3.3 on the base and emitter goes to the reg

If you have a motherboard of the ps3 CECHLxx, then look there next TH6002 and you will see the transistor that you need.

Ive looked on one and cant find anything either. Ive pulled one from another working console and fitted it, now powers up. So need to replace one one one of the consoles
