I'm sure you guys get this all the time but I am completely new to this whole scene (and I mean completely). I've always found PS3 torrents in the pirate bay and have wanted to give it a try but had no idea how to go about it. I've tried reading many different things on the matter but I get overwhelmed very easily and lose focus or drive and write it off as being too complicated. I figure with the PS4 coming out soon now would be the best time to try and learn how to pirate games for the ps3 and risk doing any damage to it.

So basically, how do I get my PS3 from point A to point Z? How do I play torrented games on my PS3? All I need is someone to explain it to me step by step and I am sure I can do it and If I learn how to do it I can pass it along to anyone else who needs to learn.

I just made an account here, and would really appreciate if someone could explain how i get nhl 13 from the p-bay (i'll download onto my laptop) to a ps3.

It's not for me it's for my nephew, i really don't know anything regarding games or computers.

A little info to help you, my ps3 was manufactured in November 2008, the Model number is CECHP01, the software version is 4.40. Any other info can be given if needed.

5 Year olds should not even be going to PS3 shops, let alone torrent sites.

As to overwhelming : try ps3devwiki.com to train some muscles on your frontal lobes. After that, the rest of the world is as baking pie.

you need to be on 3.55 or below
but you can dawngrade from 4.40 to 3.55 but you need a hardwear flasher

I understand that you guys get fed up with explaining but this elitist attitude is probably part of the reasons that guys like me don't know much about the scene. I come here asking a personal explanation because I am lost with the lingo. I need to be taught this stuff because I don't magically know it. Yet you make jokes and try not to help. I have read the tutorials but I can't grasp it. I need PS3 special ED I guess. If you aren't willing to work with me than fine. Just try not to shoo away any newcomers to the scene if you want it to grow.
