can you store ps3 games in to your ps3 hard drive

I know someone would of already covered this topic but i cant find any info about this anywere. If there is a way you can store a ps3 game into your hard drive can someone please tell me how to do it with a step by step guide thanks

There is a way to store your Ps3 games on the PS3 harddrive using Linux, nut you can't do anything with them. theu only stay there and you can't access them in any way other than Linux. (Sorry for bad English, I'm Norwegian).

You need to open a console in linux and type:

dd if=/dev/cdrom of=/imagename.img. This will dump the Bluray disc and mount it to the PS3's hard drive.

If you mean keep a backup of them, yes you can, using the PS3 itself to make an ISO of the dist to your linux partition, but the file is useless unless yo have a debug kit because burning it will result in the PS3 not reading it and there is no way of mounting the ISO. sorry.
