Make PS3 Back-ups through XMB
hacked2123 has just discovered a way to make backup's VIA XMB as compared to the tradtion PS3 SAK tool that was being used.
Video of it in action: [youtube=425,350]EdFPUr_-M_E&eurl=[/youtube] This has ONLY been TESTED on Firmware 1.11, if anyone has a higher firmware please try it out and let us know. This however is not the most practical way to export a BR disk as anything 4GB+ can not be removed from the XMB. The setup to do this is quite simple, you do however need: DVD or Bluray Burner, IDE to SATA Adapter, and a IDE Hard-Drive. Click HERE to follow the guide and try this out. |
