hey im also looking for a ps3 test/debug....what would be the price for one??and can you update the firmware if its on lets say 1.8 up to 2.53?where can you get a ps3 test/debug without stealing it?can you play games from the hdd without other apps?

The price is generally $1000-$1400. Yes you can update to any version assuming you have the debug update file. No you can't play games from the hard drive unless you have some know how and some tools.
