Tutorials for NTSC/JAP and PAL on PS2 backup booting online.
With the latest discovery on how to boot PS2 ISO's on PS3 (now for all regions) we have compiled a step by step tutorial on booting those backups on your PS3. Please note that this method only works on LAUNCH unit PS3's right now (40/80gb owners your out of luck for now).

Thanks for the tutorials.
I've got the launch PS3, just no Swap Magic. I wanna get this to work for myself for ease of use. So I don't have to drag my PS2 out. :D |

I sold my moded ps2 a while back and want to be able to play my "backups".

i have a Ps3 PAL 40Gb that i updgraded to 250Gb, am i able to play backups!?? please replay i have ordered a swap magic disc for this ability and what fw is the best for this function because i was able to add any fw when i installed the new drive.

Hey I know up there says "Only works on LAUNCH units", those are the ones with the Emotion Engine right? If so, I've just readed some posts where it says that it works in Software Emulated PS3's (I have a 80GB CECHE01), is that true? Or do I need to wait for a new version to be released?
