Gran Turismo 5 Prologue has a 24 hour lock and cannot be traded unless the OP wants to give it up completely.

Yes it does have a 24 hour lock. All that you have to do is keep the password saved on my ps3 and he can have my ps3 password saved if he wants to. I am already doing this with a friend I met through game sharing for Warhawk.
You don't have to log in to the user but just have the save password option checked. I won't play it all the time and I'm sure he won't either, we can make it work out. Let me know if your interested, sent you a message on psn!

You have to login to PSN to use it. If the other player has used it, then you can't play it until 24 hours later, so trading it is basically useless.

yeah you have to be logged in to psn to use it, but you don't have to be signed in to the original owner's account. Any questions feel free to ask, I am currently doing this with a friend, it's not hard to understand really.
