Movies under yellowdog 5.0.2
1. When I'm trying to watch "300.720p.HDDVD.x264.mkv" i have no picture only sound.
I'm using VLC and all otrer movies are fine. 2. How to add subtitles to movie in VLC ? Any ideas ??? |

I saw that 300 HD release and was very interested in it (25gigs plus lol). I was not aware though you could play mkv files on PS3 via linux. Are you streaming that file or is it on your PS3 HDD?

Sorry forgot to add that iam using linux yellowdog and moive is on my external HDD

Hmm not sure, maybe the release was bad, but I believe MKV is the HDDVD format? Did you make sure the release/file works on your PC first (And if VLC can play MKV format)? If it does work, you are most likely missing a codec.
Also there are MKv to AVI converters out there. |

if no video
open the video on VLC after play a few sec STOP play if still not working, like pirate said, try play it using VLC on PC.. 2. How to add subtitles to movie in VLC ? when playing, right click on the video window. o thge menu taht showed go to subtitle track and just click the subtitle you want to appear sorry my bd english, i hope you can understand
