Re: STICKY: which video formats work on PS3?
Well I currently use TMPG4Xpress along with K-Lite's codec pack...
Converted an entire series of Red vs. Blue into AVC at pretty much non-noticeable difference from my dvd and it all fits inside a grand total of 600 megs... Very nice indeed. However it took about 4 hours to do... If I had a computer fast enough i'd just share the vids using nero mediahome server and get nero to transcode it all on the fly. It's not bad for pretty static tv episodes, but anything with fast movement or any real special effects and it's crawl time! Damn my ****ty Dell Inspiron 1300 laptop lol! Think a tasty dual core setup is incoming soon :D Shadowsan

TMPG4Xpress converting to AVC or h264 really take long time..
@DJ_3Sixty why not use TMPG4Xpress ? its very easy, can impot almost all format, etc but make sure to install K-Lite codec pack OR Combined Community Codec Pack (CCCP)
