More than a year ago for sure, just when the PS3 downgrade method was released. It does say "BD Playback for this system is prohibited, contact customer support" or something like that.

EDIT: I had the wrong model, it's actually CECHG sorry about the confusion. So it has come to my attention that I probably do need to find the high DRL. Anyways, with the method I posted on my previous post, would that be alright? Using a file manager to place the DRLgen DRL's on to dev_flash3/revoke/drl/? Because Drltools does not have a version that supports 3.55CFW

It was from ps3 crunch. But I just tried to get you a link, and I guess Mark Webber is banned, and they deleted all of his threads/posts.

I've tried flashing the mx25, but never had any luck restoring bluray playback, not sure why.

Also there is a looong thread on psxscene with a lot of Mark's posts with good info, if i find it i'll post a link.
