Dude CECH 2501A come with a factory FW of 3.55 the lowest u can go is that u can repair it i repaired mines about 3 2 weeks ago with E3 Flasher i was doing an update on mines when a powerfaliur happend and i had another the fan died its posible to repair it.
i was on Firmware 4.21 back then mines would power on and power right backoff no HDD access or anything and i have another im planing to repair within the next couple of dayshttp://www.ps3hax.net/2011/10/releas...-55-and-lower/

gitbrew was 'nt worked with my case , i make ps3updat.pup and Lv2diag.self in pen drive
put in ps3 then turn on , any thing happend
