I'm looking forward to a proper media player including the possibility to play via LAN and from Harddisc. Something like XBMC used to be on the Xbox (back in the days).

Second I am looking for Emulators. N64, Dreamcast, NES & SNES. =)

I really dont want to see all the piracy that comes along with the breaking of the system. I think the PS3 is a beautiful piece of technology and I really want it for sony to be profitable and therefore to be developed further on.

Am I the only one that really wants music running in the background while gaming. That and emu are all I care for.

What most of you do not realize in your requests it seems to me; is that more or less everything you ask for is already in the box if the OtherOS could be optimized for the hardware; emulators, media players, MythOS, fileserver( netatalk, samba or [s]ftp ), and so on.

nah xero, i like my custom tracks playing as well. on my 360 its np. but i hear you on that. nothing like playing mafia 2 but with taio cruz, jay z, system of a down, and red hot chili peppers playing instead. lol

ps2 emu pretty please, got loads of legally obtained games but no more working ps2 (nor the urge to buy one tbh, kinda short on cash)

nes on up! but i really started gaming with teh snes. the first time i played an rpg, i traded ncaa for secret of mana to a buddy. i was addicted. since then, been a fan. zelda, all those games. goddamn. its good to just replay them every now and then. even good ol' actraiser!
