Auto updates? ****, every time you log on to play, there will be a new pointless update to combat cfw. That update will take for-****ing-ever as 11ty billion people download it off of a ****house "free" network. Finally up-to-date but time for work/school/bed/life. Tomorrow? Rinse and ****ing repeat! Now i'm not sure I EVERwant to update!

Just installed the update on my slim and there is also another new option to remote play from PC/Mobile not tried it yet but the option is there:

From that link you posted, it seems the "Remote Play" from pc option will only be available with an upcoming Sony Vaio pc.
