and where do u put the patch file
If you aren't stuck on the Crashing click part, you may just want to drop it at this point, you've been given a good deal of help and Step by Step instructions in the Read Me file.

As for Wireless device I have a Linksys WUSB54G v4, it may also be work noting that I'm on a wired network with my PlayStation as well.

Also if i run the search with the PlayStation system off it does not crash immediately, but rather scans for the full minute. If i run the scan with the system on at all, Wired or Wireless the scanner crashes.

copy all the files in the VrpPatch.zip to where the application is installed. (use windows explorer)

C:\Program Files\Sony\Remote Play with PlayStation 3

And pick to REPLACE on copy.

If you need more help, then might I suggest Windows for Dummies, I'm not calling you dumb, the Dummies books are usually well written. I own several.

Hi everyone,

I Got the Windows Troubleshooting message:
Remote Play with Playstation has stopped working. I only can close the Program.
Ive try to run as Admin but with no luck

My System:
Toshiba Sattelite L550 Notebook
with Intel WiFi Link 5100 AGN network card
Windows 7 Professional x64
I keep getting the "Remote play with Playstation 3 has stopped working" error message as well.
I have tried rebooting, running as administrator and the whole shebang but nothing works.
(and i have done everything installation wise)

Samsung R505
Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit
Atheros AR5007EG Wireless Network Adapter

I was having this problem but I fixed it. This was happening to me because AVG viewed that file as infected. Even though you might ignore the pop ups that AVG provides you, it still does not let you access the file.

You have to make AVG's Resident Shield exclude the location where the file is located at and there should be no errors after that.
