Say I use a backup of bioshock play it off hdd and then exit unplug the jailbreak then reset my ps3. would sony still be able to track that I had previosly played a back up?

it just occurred to me, we have no video of this working, how can we be sure it works?? I mean, I am not doubting the uploader, but i would like to see video of this....i love watching videos of hacks and stuff....

they ($ony) can possibly trace the installed backup manager software...
No videos yet, cause you need specific hardware to flash this on before using it. Not a lot of people where prepared for this

@chidesd; remain offline and do not connect to the internet, seriously doubt Sony can detect what has been played previously....i am not 100% on this though..I mean, Microsoft LIVE only banned people when they detected it from online use

@chidesd I've read they are updating the Backup Manger program (already) for some tweaks, so they may be fixing the Disk ID thing, the Nintendo Wii disk IDs are properly working on copies (even though you can change them using software) so I am sure its only a matter of time (short time at the rate this is going) before they fix the Disk ID issue

I'm stuck at work watching this unfold on my phone. Hopefully the download links still work tonight. If not, one of you guys please start a torrent.
