Jailbreak the PS3 with a Nokia N900
This is for the Nokia N900 only, it will not work on the N97 or any 'similar' devices. It will not work on a linux PC, it will not work on Android without recompilation from the source, which will be released tomorrow.
KaKaRoTo released his PSGroove clone for the Nokia N900, it is not a port of PSGroove. You can find the news post here, however due to huge load the site went down You can find a mirror here: http://www.ps3hax.net/downloads.php?do=file&id=395 Instructions to install this, you need the stock kernel rootsh and wget installed for now. Code:
root wget http://xceleo.org/psfreedom.tar.gz tar -xzvf psfreedom.tar.gz chmod +x *.sh ./psfreedom-enable.sh The PS3 should now be jailbroken, check with dmesg on the N900 to see if it succeeded.

arghhhh! that n900 got linux !! gonna work like charm so smoothly with its harware specs!

The Symbian community doesn't have many community devs, plus the kernel's closed source on pre-Symbian^3 devices.

You can also download the file here, copy it to your N900 via SCP (in /root).
Then, via SSH, type in: Code:
./psfreedom-enable.sh And proceed as normal when booting to PS3
