here r the files tht i downloaded for the ti84+ calculator to work with the backup manager pls follow the links

Right, just as marcx said, all the patched versions of the port should work the same way, some may got interface changes and what not but the principal core of changes are the 4 bytes changed in descriptor.asm to deliver the "dev_bdvd" part of the shellcode instead of the psgroove original "dev_xxxx" string that restrained you from using the backup manager so my patch or marcx's or talmagal's, everyone should work the same.

@luisf_g3 the game will appear as a disc to load at the XMB put in a spare disc and your good to go

can you guy's explain me, why backup manager is just working with the orginal ti-84 psgroove??? i dont get it, i'm backuping GTA IV right now, but you guys say it doesnt work with the orginal psgroove?

AS the backup manager can be installed,booted up, game backed up on the original ps groove but you cant run the backups as the dev_bdvd mount point is misssing.With out this mount point the bm has no where to attach the games to run them like it should it trys and thinking it has succed but really nothing get mounted and every thing is messed up Im right now makinga backup of a game using his original file which shouldnt be possible. but i alreayd know it wont be able to be run its not working you might be abel to back up the games but you wont be able to run them as the bdvd mount point never got reinstated |

@Calnorak, well yeah, there were also swap discs I think. But I think these came after modchips. Either way, we definately weren't using calculators lol
