Cant backup/load GTA IV files on HDD, the PS3 wont find the HDD?

I've seen other mods working on ps3 I guess download it and see what files r there and if it's the same folder lay out

The PS3 has VERY little ram...and most of these mods use hi-res textures...even if you could get them working, the game would be playing at 2FPS.
