PS3 Game Ripper v1.0 Released
Want to reduce the size of your PS3 game dump? The folks over at Logic Sunrise have released a tool to do just that. This program scans your PS3 game dump and removes files such as dummy files, foreign languages, updates, and various others. The program is in Spanish but its not too difficult to navigate through, if someone can port an English version or make a diagram of the menu in English - I am sure many would appreciate it.

Thinking about this
I was thinking about this last night, can we remove random files that just bloat the software?
Will this cause errors? What if some of the files like network files are checked buy the game software to see if they are enabled and end up not being there? |

Obviously you can remove the update files and the foreign languages without any immediate issue being presented. |

Removes updates? Does this mean games that require 3.42+ will work on 3.41?
************* [ - Post Merged - ] ************* If someone ever tries, post how small this would make a FFXIII iso. |

nice
This seems like a handy tool, but what method should the people use that store to internal? Will they have to transfer each 20+ gb game to windows? That seems cumbersome. Would be nice if they released a backup manager that while "backing up" the game also ripped out the bloat files. I imagine in time this will actually be a reality.
