Most of this would probably not happen for another 5 years if they delivered Linux fully fledged in the first place...

Looking to find who? I am still on 3.15 because I actually use Linux.
Of course Sony pissed my kids off totally because they blocked PSN, but that does not change the fact that I do some development on Linux PPC.

One thing i dont get is, sony will force us to use newer firmware for newer games as it happened before. So whats the point of investing into the psjailbreak and then after 6months you cannot play anything anymore? I was watching on ebay to buy one of these but then gave up becouse then i saw an article about new sony firmware which blocks apsolute everything.

It's out there. No matter what Sony do now, they wont change a thing, development will continue and people will jailbreak their consoles. Sony are wasting their time and money.
