Whenever someone needs peek&poke then they can use it, not a problem, but P&K is useful only for developers as I think.
It was used for game patches, which we don't need anymore because of payloads like Kakaroto's PL3.

So his payload is useful for normal users and developers can use payloads useful for them.

Right now we can succesfully use PL3 payload with Gaia rc7 and NZHawk Awesome Mount Point Manager.
Everyone else should update their managers too for compatibility with this and it will be fine.

I'd rather use something that will be used by many people without other people updating it and releasing as their own work, claiming that they did something useful by copy-pasta methods. When a big community will use PL3, then there is bigger chance of getting bugs reports and making it moe useful for everyone by ONE man, because when many people would start working on it it's sure that they can make it better, but everyone can also break it even more, create holes and bugs which would be not easy to repair.

I would rather leave the fate of payloads for Kakaroto and different matters like CFW for someone else who is devoted to it, just like he is to payloads creation.

You're just hillarious - if Kakaroto would create a way for PSGroove/Freedom usage on newer firmware, his work is open sourced, so it doesn't matter who created it because everyone will be able to use it - it's about who can use it WELL.

If you're not able to use it, so why bother replying? Just wait for something that suits you. For now, let other who are grateful for the work that they can use to reply and thank him for his hard work, instead of building hate and anger towards... free stuff...

And about donations - he doesn't tell you to donate because you use his work, but if you're decent enough and you care about someone else's work, then you would donate from your own decency.

Actually guys just READ the whole post... Try to UNDERSTAND what is he saying and then judge!!

I'm a IT Engineer, and he is right about all the points that he made!!! EVERY ONE OF THEM! well I don't know about the work of others, Hermes still did great things for the scene, but really don't let stupidity stay in the work of progress...

Gonna use this with latest Gaia... best way to do it!

KatanPL, you are exactly right. That is how things like this should be handled KaKaRoTo is not bashing other people hes making us aware of payloads that are not coded correctly, though i cant prove that either way but i doubt someone as known as KaKaRoTo probably would not lie. So maybe everyone should try his payload, respond on how it worked for you, and then thank him for his semi un-compensated and somewhat under appreciated work in the PS3 "scene"

he is indeed right with most of his statements, but the payload released by rancid, that compiles everything from mathieulh hermes and waninioko, was good because one thing, and one thing only, for the noobs, most people don't use PL3 unfortunately we can find everything there, but will the noobs be able to get it?? nooo they won't! will they be able to compile it no most of them won't, they are always downloading compiled hex, begging for people to compile that cause they are unable to input two simple commands.
so yeah kakaroto is right! but this compilation of payload from rancid was a good thing.

without doubt - it is good to have something noob-proof, but it is again a new-old payload which makes a bit of a confusion and people (mostly noobs) are responding - "but this guy has made a better payload! go die in fire... kicked his balls".

Some people need to learn how to use internets and google - you can find every payload compiled for what you need quickly, just have to look.

From today I will use PL3 payload with Gaia Backup manager and other that are making use of it.
