Rogero from PSX-Scene has released a new version of his Backup Manager, here is a quote from his thread:

ChangeLog from Rogero_V6.2 21/10/2010 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 1- Payload Auto-Detection and Output Payload Type detected on GUI, works with all current available payloads.

2- Advanced Patching Mechanism that works according to the current Payload Type detected.

3- Patching only occurs at Game Load, no more List Refresh needed.

3- New Graphical User Interface (With Game BG + Icon)

4- Toggle Show/Hide Games Full Paths with R1.

5- Progress-Bar on Copying Games.

6- Faster Game Files Test/Size.

7- HomeBrew and FTP Functions removed.

Seems to be a stripped OM, Wonder if this works automatically with the MoH? I think we all like the ftp and homebrew functions. :aetsch:

hmm i am missing the ftp function ...
because in blackbox ftp 1.2 you cannot manage 2 external hdds... -.-
i think it would be better when i stay at gaia manager

Hope it also works with /hdd_0/GAMEZ/ folder, getting tired of moving games to other directtories for every new manager that gets released. They should all add support for /hdd0/gamez/, makes our life easier and we can keep the game in same location and don't have to move them into other folders every time ...

Please BackupManager DEV's .... add support for hdd0/gamez please! It's really a pain to move 30 gamez to different folders everytime you want to try out a new backupmanager. It's annoying and I don't get it why every needs to have its own game folder ... it doesn't make any sense, so please ... get rid of that idea/feature! gamez should be placed in one folder and not every manager should have its own gamez folder ...

an hour ago this is exactly what I said what would be posted. lol. oh boy looks like tommorow I'm going to have to update to the latest PSN. Don't wont to but with stuff like this you have no choice. By the end of the day it will either be more news about backup/open manager or ftp program and probably homebrew of a old atari like game.....but this is a good update for people that one a new interface....i guess

All these payloads and managers, this sh!t is getting confusing man! at least we all know which manager is worst (PSJB) haha

We dont need new managers but we need a manger to work with all games. Most of them offer nothing new just a facelift.

I can't backup any games with this. Get an error as soon as it starts and it can't even open the game?
